The one cookie described below is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly requested — the language you selected — and is therefore exempt from consent under §25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. Nothing else is stored on or read from your device.

One, and only if you act. Choosing a language in the switcher sets a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE holding that locale code, for up to twelve months, so the site answers in the language you picked. It is sent with your requests to this domain because that is how the server knows which language to serve — that is its entire purpose. It contains no identifier, no session and no consent state. Never choose a language and it is never set.

None are used. No analytics platform is embedded.

No IndexedDB, no service workers, and no web storage for tracking or profiling. Choosing light or dark mode writes that preference to your browser's local storage; unlike the language cookie it stays on your device and is never sent to us. Both are strictly necessary to provide the function you asked for, within the meaning of §25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.
